How long is the event? How many hours per day are we in session?
Plan to be in Hartford from Monday, August 5, at 5:30 PM through Wednesday, August 7, at 6 PM.
We kick off at 5:30 PM Monday with an Opening Night Networking Party. The conference sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday begin at 8:00 AM and run until 6:00 PM.
Are there breaks?
Of course! This is a high-energy event with a lot packed into each day, so you’ll need to recharge. Along with a continental breakfast and lunch provided each day, we’ll have morning beverage breaks and afternoon breaks stocked with coffee, tea, water, sodas, and cookies.
How much does it cost?
All-Access tickets are $599. As the name implies, these give you access to all sessions on both days in addition to breakfast and lunch, the Opening Night Networking Party on Monday, and the Cocktail Hour and Evening Party on Tuesday.
VIP tickets are $999. VIP ticket holders receive all the benefits of All-Access plus premium seating, speaker meet and greets, signed books, a VIP dinner on Tuesday, and open bar during the Opening Night Networking Party on Monday, and the Cocktail Hour and Evening Party on Tuesday.
IMPACT Live for Teams packages vary, depending on the number of people you’d like to bring.

Will food and accommodations be provided?
Both All-Access and VIP tickets include a continental breakfast, lunch, and breaks on Tuesday and Wednesday. VIP ticket-holders are also invited to a VIP dinner on Tuesday evening.
Your ticket does not include hotel accommodations, but we have set up a room block at the Hartford Marriott Downtown, which offers discounted rates (standard rooms start at $165/night) for anyone headed to IMPACT Live.
Will there be parties and evening events?
We wouldn’t have it any other way. Monday night (August 5) is the Opening Welcome Party from 5:30 – 7:30. On Tuesday, there’s a cocktail hour after we wrap for the day at 6 pm. Then we’ll regroup after dinner at 8:30 for the Evening Party Sponsored by Accelo. Like the conference itself, all events are casual (but if you want to keep to dress codes that are Fancy Ranch, Brooklyn Chic, or Fabulous Formal, that’s ok with us.)
Are there assigned seats?
All seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. VIP ticket-holders will have access to specially designated premium seating.
What should I wear?
What would you wear to hang out with your smart friends and talk marketing? That’s what you should pack. For some that’s a three-piece suit, for most others it’s jeans and a T-shirt. Wear what inspires you (and what can safely be worn out in public).
Since we’re in the Connecticut Conference Center, expect to do a decent amount of walking. You might also want to dress in layers, as you’ll be transitioning from the outside summer heat to indoor air-conditioning.
Can I record the event with my phone or any other recording device?
We encourage you to focus on the speaker instead of your phone during the event. That’s why we’re recording every session and taking notes for you. We’ll release the notes at the end of each day and will send you access to the video hub as soon as it’s ready after the conference wraps.
That said, IMPACT Live is pretty darn cool, and you probably won’t be able to stop yourself from recording some gems, taking photos, and generally showing your friends what they missed out on (unless, of course, you bring your friends with you). We don’t mind you doing any of that, as long as you share it and tag us.
