Melanie a 15-year sales and marketing veteran, with a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Emerson College in Boston, MA. She's a writer and storyteller at heart. 

In her current role here at IMPACT, she oversees the digital sales & marketing advisors to make sure all IMPACT is meeting or exceeding its clients expections. Her work as the Media and HVR Sales and Marketing Manager at HubSpot is what led her to join the IMPACT team.

Fun facts in no particular order: She created and was the Publisher of www.equippedbrewer.com, is a co-owner of a hard cider company that has distribution in 5 state, and has been on the air at CNN.

Jen Barrell Content Marketing Consultant, 10+ Years of Content & Digital Marketing Strategy

Jen has witnessed the benefits of the inbound philosophy first-hand, having led content marketing efforts at a growing technology company, where marketing and sales leads each tripled within a year. After getting her start in content creation as an editor in the publishing world, she ran a thriving publishing services agency for 10 years.

A graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University and an avid fan of mid-century modern design and all things science fiction, Jen lives in the Chicago suburbs with her husband, son, and a quirky Jack Russell terrier, who are all in the process of making a 100-year-old farmhouse their own.

As IMPACT’s Director of Web & Interactive Content, Liz does a lot more than wrangle commas. With more than 10 years of editorial and inbound marketing experience, she’s obsessed with helping businesses and industry leaders create addictive online content experiences.

Additionally, she works closely with in-house contributors and IMPACT partners as an editor, content strategist, and sounding board, to help them bring their own stories to life.

Liz lives in Annapolis, Maryland, with her husband and two dogs. She loves traveling and listening public radio, and is also a freelance beer writer for her local newspaper.
