Single Line Text + Multi-Line Text
Single-line text: can contain a string of any alphanumeric characters, such as a word, a phrase, or a sentence.
Multi-line text: can contain several strings of alphanumeric characters, such as a paragraph or list of items.
Why are we doing this series? Because understanding field types will help you wrap your head around custom contact properties, how your data is stored in HubSpot, and how you can manipulate it!
I suggest only using these two field types when you absolutely have to. If you can pre-determine responses, it’s going to make segmenting your contacts SO much easier.
