INBOUND does indeed start on November 8th this year. Unfortunately, these dates were the only ones that were possible with the venue back when HubSpot contracted this year's space back in 2012.

HubSpot knows this timing is far from ideal, but they’ll be doing everything possible to make sure that we can get the most out of INBOUND and fulfill your civic responsibility to vote.

HubSpot Ads - LinkedIn Campaign Import

HubSpot updated the Ads Add-On to pull in all LinkedIn Campaigns, regardless if they were built in HubSpot or not. The tool can still only track ads built in HubSpot, but to activate automatic conversion tracking just add new ads to your existing campaigns and pause old campaigns. Targeting and budget information from existing campaigns will be brought into the tool, and it will now show an n/a for any campaign or ad that isn't trackable.

This should make it easier for you to track conversion on all your ads; an important step in getting the most out of your ad spend.

All customers who have the Ads Add-On.

How does it work?

HubSpot now pulls in the targeting and budget information for all campaigns. Untracked ads feature a clickable “n/a” for conversions and customers. When clicked, a message explains that this is because the ad doesn’t have the HubSpot tracking code. Users can then click through to a KCS showing them how to track the campaign.

How can a marketer use this?

Customers with the Ads Add-On who are also using LinkedIn ads should create new campaigns in HubSpot but recreate ads in old campaigns through the app. This will give them the tracking they need to get the most out of their ads. This change helps callout LinkedIn campaigns that aren’t tracked and thus need to be recreated.

Mass Editing of Tasks in HubSpot CRM

So what happens when you use the task tool in the CRM and someone gets fired or moves on? You have to assign those tasks to the next person. Currently, that means you have to manually edit each task and reassign the new person.

In my case, that meant 7 pages of 25 tasks per page.

Can anyone say #time-consuming?

A very needed feature to the HubSpot CRM is the ability for mass editing of task items. Please, HubSpot and Hubcast listeners make this a priority!
