Growth Hacking: Free Digital Marketing Tools Even the Pros Love [Infographic]
You can’t hang a picture without a nail and hammer, and you can’t be a top-notch marketer without some handy tools at your disposal.
It’s important to always be on the lookout for the next big way to be more productive and efficient; tactics or tools that will save you time and sanity.
Unfortunately, sometimes, those tools just aren’t in the budget, but have no fear!
There are plenty of free digital marketing tools out there that will do the trick.
Thankfully, FloraPang took the time and created an infographic from a list of their favorite, top-notch tool alternatives for your quick reference!
Their list includes tools for everything from SEO and site crawling to content curation and even finding influencers.
Here are some of the ones from that list that I love to use:
You’ll need an AdWords account to access it, but this free tool has a ton of value for SEO keyword research. Whether you’re an agency using it for a client or a marketer using it for your own site, you can get some pretty great keyword ideas and a competitive analysis.
For a quick overview of how you stack up against your closest competitors, give HubSpot’s Marketing Grader a try. It delves into key inbound areas of your website that could use some optimization and shows you how your marketing efforts correlate to your website’s performance.
This free desktop program runs a comprehensive check-up on any website you give it. It spits out CSV files containing information about website links, images, page titles, meta-descriptions, CSS, and scripts (and that’s just for starters). Since the files are easy to open in Excel and other spreadsheet programs, it also allows for quick filtering to find areas that need to be fixed.
Now, I have to disclose, not many of us use Hootsuite here at IMPACT anymore, but we definitely used it for our client social scheduling in our early days.
This social tool is a great alternative to expensive softwares. It is also constantly adapting to include new and major social platforms (most recently it added Instagram), so you don’t have to worry about falling behind.
Finding influencers and other experts to connect with couldn’t be easier with wefollow! With this tool, you search through prominent Twitter users related to your area of interest/expertise to find new people to follow and reach out to.
This handy tool even gives you an influencing grade (0-100) so you know who will give you the most back.
Marketers typically wear many different hats so tools like the ones listed above and below, are solutions many have been searching for to improve their efficiencies.
Give a few a try and let me know how they work out for you!
