5 Ways to Boost your Lead Generation Right Now

lead generationEveryone wants to boost their leads immediately. Yet there are times when traffic and lead generation isn't a want but a neccessity. You may be in need of a busy sales month or your company’s busy season could be approaching.

HubSpot recently posted an article, “5 Major Challenges Marketers Face and How to Solve Them” that featured statistics based off of a research study they conducted that looked at challenges across both B2B and B2C companies. The top 2 challenges for both B2B and B2C companies were Awareness/traffic (22.5%) and Lead Generation (16.2%).

If these are the top two challenges companies are facing then it is apparent how difficult increasing lead generation is. However, if you are in need of leads now there are 5 simple ways you can use the content you already have and revamp it to quickly boost your leads.

Pay Per Click Campaign

A pay per click campaign can complement your organic search strategy. If you create a list of strong keywords that are relevant to your company and industry and develop a pay per click campaign that advertises and promotes your business on the top of search pages. Make sure to strategically place these key words so that once they are found they will be linked to the correct landing pages and form fills.

Your copy should continue to be optimized with these keywords and drive traffic to your landing pages to quickly get their information and have them become a lead. You should make sure these keywords were already tested to be successful matches for your company before you start paying for them as well. After you run your pay per click you can continue to analyze which keywords were most effective so if you find yourself in this position again you can quickly use keywords that have successful ratings.

Rebrand an Underperforming Offer

Your company has tons of content that can easily be altered to improve the success of a particular offer. It can be as simple as promoting a previous landing page for an ebook and just changing the title of the ebook to see if you can increase traffic. Or you can change the copy on a particular landing page to try and attract new leads. Email announcements promoting original offers can also be very beneficial to expanding your reach. You can also reuse an offer that was successful for you in the past and push the landing page, CTAs, and email promotions related to it.

Email Blast Promoting

Blast out an offer or promotion to contacts that you already have. They may have been leads but not followed through to the sales process. If you give them that one offer they can’t resist you can turn a lead into a customer.

Email is also great platform because if you end up in a mailbox of someone that likes your product or has used it before they can easily forward it to their existing network as well and you have an instant new list of leads.

Change up your CTAs

The CTAs on your website bring prospects directly to the landing page in order to gain them as a lead (as long as they fill out your form!) Look at which CTAs in the past have been successful for you and continue using those. Also, edit older CTAs to try and make them more successful. Simply making a CTA a different color, changing the wording or creating a complete new offer will make your readers notice the change on your website as well. Your followers will notice changes and updates on your website and they will be enticed to continue engaging with your content.

Social Media

With so many social media platforms available at your fingertips you have infinite ways to reach a huge amount of new leads. Take content you already have created and start promoting it on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, Pinterest etc. These websites attract different audiences, and your leads can easily be browsing on these sites just waiting to notice your offers and content.

Using information and content you already have and making a few small changes, then promoting it on more online arenas will help you quickly gain leads.
