Account Management Intern

The Big Picture

During the account management internship, students or recent graduates will learn the ins and outs of inbound marketing including best practices, important terms and inbound language, and general planning and strategizing skills.  After training and becoming “Inbound Marketing Certified”, interns will join a team to learn how to develop strategic marketing plans for assigned clients.    

What will the Account Management Intern do?

  • Participate in frequent marketing meetings with team members
  • Create content and blog posts 
  • Develop and implement strategies for various clients
  • Research new and upcoming inbound marketing tactics
  • Proofread various types of content 
  • Test the functionality of websites
  • Suggest improvements to optimize site pages
  • Analyze and interpret statistics and data using the Hubspot Software
  • Post to various social media accounts
  • Monitor social engagement and interact, connect, or nurture prospects
  • Review social accounts to ensure proper growth and results
  • Learn from and support the Senior Account Manager and Account Manager on the team

A Few Things We Require

  • Proven relationship building skills and experience working in a group
  • Independent thinking and management skills
  • Ability to use various sources of market and customer data to develop marketing strategies
  • Strong understanding of all social media platforms
  • Excellent writing skills, strong understanding of how to write SEO-Friendly content
  • Tons of energy, passion, humor, and enthusiasm
