Bob Ruffolo Founder & CEO
Bob is an inbound marketing professional with over 10 years of experience in online marketing and strategy development. Bob has always been on the cutting edge regarding all aspects of online marketing, including: campaign development, web design, search engine optimization, social media marketing, blogging, marketing analysis, CRM management, closed loop reporting.
Since founding IMPACT in 2009, Bob oversaw the company through an accelerated growth period and developed a reputation as one of the top start-up marketing agencies. Under his leadership, IMPACT has grown to 18 employees, became a HubSpot Gold Certified Partner, and been awarded Inbound Marketing Agency Rookie of the Year.
One of Bob’s passions is speaking about anything marketing, especially to business owners, marketing professionals, and students focusing in business and marketing.
Tom DiScipio Executive Vice President & Co-Owner
Tom is a project management ninja and creative design guru with strong entrepreneurial underpinnings and a love for helping businesses succeed. As the Vice President and Co-Owner of IMPACT, Tom engages in and shares Bob’s vision of building the BEST inbound marketing agency. From a management capacity, Tom also leads and works alongside the design and development team to align formative design strategy with client goals. Because of his passion for business development and the incredible team surrounding him, Tom would say he’s never really worked a day in his life at IMPACT.Beyond the day-to-day, Tom balances life at IMPACT with extra curriculars that include rockin’ out on guitar and participating in all things automotive (more specifically BMW).
Vin Gaeta Director of Development and Support
Vin graduated from Quinnipiac University with a BA in Interactive Digital Design and a MA in Interactive Communication. His love for design and technology started at a young age playing video games. The passion for video game design transitioned into an affection for website design. Since joining the IMPACT Team as a web developer, Vin has become our Director of Development and Support, using problem solving skills to fix any issues that occur, or to develop new areas on websites. In his free time, Vin enjoys reading and collecting comic books, listening to music, and relaxing with friends.
John Bonini Marketing Director
As the Marketing Director at IMPACT Branding & Design, John oversees the company’s entire lead generation and branding strategy, utilizing blogging, premium content creation, social media marketing, search engine optimization and video marketing in order to help grow the company and expand its reach.
Under John’s direction, IMPACT has experienced significant growth in its blog subscribers, social media following, as well the company’s overall traffic and lead generation.
In addition to his work at IMPACT, John has also been interviewed and featured in several industry leading publications, including the Wall Street Journal’s SmartMoney, MarketWatch, as well as the HubSpot blog.
Bobby Kane Sr. Web Designer
Bobby comes from a design background, but is fascinated by the power of online media. Not just a designer, he immerses himself in all things creative. Bobby’s passion for the arts led him to where he is today. As a Graphic/Information Design graduate, Bobby offers unique angles to every project. His dedication to the field of design allows him to mix modern trends with design standards – creating logos, websites, and print media that offer fresh perspectives.
Natalie Davis Process Development Manager
Since graduating from Marist College with a degree in Communications, Natalie has stayed on top of the ever-changing marketing world. As the Process Development Manager, Natalie must analyze methods and processes used throughout the company, constantly developing more efficient strategies for better marketing results. From understanding current industry trends to researching what’s coming next, she is an expert at using the best marketing techniques for success. When she isn’t at the office, she loves obsessing over foodie websites and restaurants, and scouting out the best deals at the local TJ Maxx or Homegoods stores.
Joe Rinaldi Creative Manager
Joe is a graphic designer with over 6 years of experience. He first became interested in Design in high school when he was introduced to poster designs by artists such as Paul Cheret and Alfons Mucha. This led him to pursue a degree in Design. In May 2011 he graduated Cum Laude from Central Connecticut State University with a Bachelors degree in Graphic Information / Design. Joe is familiar with all aspects of design- from print to web and everything in between. He is constantly reading articles and blogs to stay current on the industry standards.
Erica Dube Sr. Account Manager
Erica is a recent graduate of Albertus Magnus College with a degree in Promotional Communications and a focus in Marketing. Her experience with event planning and public relations has continuously helped her develop unique marketing ideas throughout her time at IMPACT. Erica’s passion for writing and excellent organizational skills make it simple for her to manage the creative work that comes with managing each client’s account. While she’s not at work Erica enjoys reading, being outside and shoe shopping.
Katie Pritchard Account Manager
Katie is a recent graduate of Central Connecticut State University. As a marketing major, Katie has always had a passion for creativity and developing new ideas. Her organizational skills and attention to detail allow her to effectively manage and create content for clients. When Katie’s not in her favorite bean bag chair at the office, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and baking.
James Desmond Account Manager
James graduated from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and has spent the last five years heavily involved in all aspects of inbound marketing for over 20 websites throughout the country. James has a diverse background in Marketing, from working at major corporations such as ESPN and VP Records, to small businesses in Connecticut such as Charlotte Meyer Designs and Flavor For Madison. James joined the IMPACT team in 2012 and currently lives in New Haven, when he is not working on getting his black belt in inbound marketing he is probably outside spending time with his dog, Deziree Desmond.
Carolyn Edgecomb Marketing Manager
Carolyn started at IMPACT as an intern before graduating from Elmira College with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with specializations in both Marketing and Management in 2012. As a marketing manager; she is continuously producing content about nurturing leads, how to effectively interact and engage with fans on social media and how to implement a successful inbound marketing campaign. she is your go to person when it comes to implementing social media, blogging and utilizing local search engine optimization. When Carolyn is not at work, she enjoys traveling and shopping.
Ryan Coates Front End Web Developer
Ryan is a Web Developer with over 3 years of experience in Web Development, he has recently graduated from Endicott College with a Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems. He first became interested in Web Design while interning as a web developer his senior year of college, where he developed a mobile website for a non-profit organization. This led him to pursue a degree in Web Development. Ryan is constantly learning the best practices in Web Development and Design by reading articles and blogs to stay current on the industry standards.
Amir Hamdi Graphic Designer
Amir comes from an all around creative background, using his skills to excel in design, photography, and cinematography. He’s currently getting his BA in Graphic/Information design at Central Connecticut State University. His extreme appreciation and attention to quality and detail allows him to produce well thought out inspired designs, and shoot exceptional photo and video. He mixes all the important principles from each media to influence all his work and broaden his skill set.
Ramona Sukhraj Account Manager
Ramona graduated from the UConn School of Business in 2011, with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. With a passion for everything artistic, she approaches inbound marketing not only as a profession, but as a way of life and a creative outlet. Her attention to detail, love of writing, and addiction to social media drew her to IMPACT, where she strives to create content that is informative, yet quirky and entertaining. Outside of the office, Ramona is a movie and entertainment buff, who also dabbles in photography and graphic design.
Dave Sotolotto Account Manager
A graduate of Roger Williams University, Dave is passionate about all things marketing. At IMPACT, Dave spends his days working with clients and churning out fresh content. If you don’t see Dave writing about latest inbound marketing trends, you’ll find him engulfing himself in reading material to help him hone his marketing prowess. When he isn’t firmly planted to the rolling desk chair that he built with his bare hands, Dave enjoys spending time with friends and pursuing his other passion for sports. He enjoys running, rooting for the Penguins, Panthers, and Cubs (we’re not quite sure what happened either), and pretending that he can golf.
Marcella Jalbert Graphic Designer
Marcella is a graphic designer, of over 10 years, who is always eager to learn and improve. Having attended college for both business and graphic design she works to create a beautiful design that is also highly functional from a marketing standpoint, in order to generate the best results. When she’s not designing she enjoys singing, drawing, and taking her three dogs for walks.
Ed Long Web Designer/Developer
Ed graduated from Full Sail University, Summa Cum Laude, with a Bachelors of Science degree in Digital Arts and Design and brings to the IMPACT team over 8 years of experience. Ed has a background of diverse creativity, drawing from areas of expertise in marketing, development, design, photography, motion graphics, and videography. Ed is addicted to creating and is continually learning new design trends, industry standards, and is often found investigating beta products to find new solutions to provide our customers with the best possible return on their investment with IMPACT. Outside of the office Ed owns his own photography business, he enjoys traveling (he’s actually a self admitted Disney addict), spending time with his family, photography, personal projects, and leading the outreach, media and marketing teams at his church.
Tim Ostheimer Jr. Web Developer
Tim recently graduated from Quinnipiac University with a BA in Interactive Digital Design. While there, he branched his education to Computer Science, Game Design, and Film as well, giving him insight on the workflow and modern practices of the many fields of technology. As a web developer, Tim focuses on creating efficient and intuitive websites using his knowledge of digital media, interfaces, and user experience design.
Caitlin Shanly Jr. Account Manager
Caitlin is an alumna of Stonehill College, where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. Her passion for social media lead her to IMPACT, where she uses her creativity and organizational skills to bring a personal touch to branding and marketing campaigns. Outside of the office, Caitlin enjoys watching movies and spending time with friends and family.
Stephanie Hughes Social Media Marketing Manager
Stephanie graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a BS in Marketing and a minor in Communication. She has a background in social media, public relations, digital marketing and content creation. As a Social Media Manager at IMPACT, Stephanie helps to align marketing efforts with sales objectives by qualifying and nurturing prospects through social media. When she isn’t at the office, she loves to spend time with her family, friends and two Shih Tzu’s, Daisy & Cody.
Carly Stec Jr. Account Manager
Carly is an energetic, creative individual with a passion for utilizing new technology and social media to strategize marketing solutions for clients. As a Junior Account Manager, she brings with her a comprehensive media literacy education and fresh perspective. She explored her enthusiasm for marketing culture at Southern Connecticut State University, where she received her BA in Media Studies. In her free time, Carly enjoys being crafty, trying out Pinterest recipes, and shopping.
Austin Malloy Jr. Account Manager
Austin is interested in growing trends in marketing and keeps himself immersed in the social media world. He received a BA in Communications at Bryant University with a concentration in Marketing. As a Junior Account Manager, he brings fresh ideas and his enthusiasm for inbound marketing. In his free time, he creates/edits his own films, enjoys golfing, and supports his favorite team—the Chicago Bears.
Clyde the Plant Office Roots
Grew up like any other tree in the neighborhood. Went through some rough patches as a young seedling. Tried to be an outdoor plant here and there, so my parents grounded me a lot. But it gave me time to reflect, when I realized I should go back to my roots, and find happiness as an indoor tree. Connected with IMPACT in Septimber 2009 through a Craigslist Ad. They were looking for a tree, I was pining for the corner spot in an office. Been re-potted twice, so I’m not the young lad I used to be. Nowadays I like to hang out in the corner, watch Tree-D movies and tweet. It’s a dirty job, but someone’s gotta do it.
