Share Content on Your Fan Page’s Wall
Are you giving your Facebook fans the chance to convert into valuable leads? Perhaps the simplest way to solve this is to share some of the content on your website to your Facebook wall. Share any content you are using to generate leads on your website. This will work best if the link directs users to a landing page that features a lead generation form for any downloadable content like an ebook or perhaps a webinar. Blog content links may be shared too, but make sure each post feature call to action statements and landing pages with a conversion form for visitors to directly convert. Blogs may not be considered as the primary tool for lead generation, but these posts can definitely entice and initiate people to subscribe to your monthly newsletter, download a free ebook or join a webinar.

Don’t Forget Your Call-to-Action Buttons and Statements
Facebook no longer allows users to add call to action buttons to your page’s main profile page. So how are you going to place CTA buttons to attract more customers on Facebook? It is still possible to include custom tabs with accompanying CTAs with the use of iFrames. All you need to do is point the CTAs to your landing pages for offers, promotions, webinars or free downloadable content for you to gather leads.
Expand Your Page’s Reach
Reach is a crucial aspect in every social media lead generation strategy. For instance, in Twitter, the more followers you have, the more users will see your shared content. And the same principle holds true even for Facebook and other social networking sites. Hubspot recently conducted a study which revealed a correlation between the number of leads generated and the number of Facebook fans. Companies with 500 to 1000 fans generated up to four times more leads than accounts with only 10-25 fans. And as the number of fans increased, the number of leads generated multiplied as well. Every “like” or fan increases your chances of sharing content to more customers who can turn into valuable leads in the future.
So how do you increase Facebook likes? Make sure you install “like buttons” on your web pages. You can also sponsor a contest to generate more likes to your fan page. There are companies give away free products or discounts to the 500th or 1000th person who likes their fan page.
Don’t Forget to Add the Facebook “like” Plugin and Share Buttons to your Content
Aside from regularly sharing links of your web content to your Facebook wall, you can also include share buttons on your web pages. This will make it easy for other users who are reading your content to do the same and share it to their social media networks. Add the “like” plugin and “share” button to each content that you produce. This will easily expand your contents’ reach and make it viral in no time. According to Facebook statistics, websites that installed “like” buttons experienced up to 5 times click through rates.
Make it Hard for Them Not to Convert
An issue with all the steps outlined above is that a certain Facebook user has to leave the site for them to complete a conversion form and become a lead. But you can now get rid of the middle step and offer conversion opportunities from your Facebook fan page without making them leave. There are applications available these days that will help you present new visitors with a conversion form after they clicked on the “Like” button. The HubSpot Welcome application is a good Facebook application that is worth looking into.
