Say hello to Bobby Kane (@bobbyjkane), Brand Manager/Graphic Designer at IMPACT Branding & Design. After being with the company for almost a year, Bobby has honed the skills necessary to create an infographic just like that, and he’s a Call-to-Action master.

In the office, Bobby is usually whistling along to the tune of any music we have playing. When he’s not busy on his Mac, Bobby likes to play the guitar and has recently started quite the aquarium hobby. Take a look at our interview with Bobby Kane, the man who has never been angry a day in his life.

Q:  Where did you grow up and what was it like?

Bobby:  I grew up in Southington, CT. I remember there always being a lot of other kids my age around, which was a lot of fun. The neighborhood always had something going on.

Q:  How would your family and close friends describe you?

Bobby:  They wouldn’t say that I’m quiet, but that I’ve definitely got a laid-back quality. My parents think I’m funny, and my friends will tell you that I tell the best stories (because I don’t).  Oh, and that I’m the most patient person they’ve ever met.

Q:  Who is the most influential person in your life?

Bobby:  Definitely my dad. He works really hard – in fact, he’s probably the most hard-working person I know. He’s definitely someone people look up to, and I respect him a lot for it.

Q:  What is your all-time favorite movie?

Bobby:  I could never choose just one. Inception is in my top three… I could watch that movie on repeat. I also like Grandma’s Boy, I am Legend, and any type of Pixar animated film or comedy.

Q:  What is currently playing on your iPod?

Bobby:  Right now I’m listening to a lot of acoustic music, like Andy McKee and Sungha Jung (Who also rocks the South Korean background!). I’m going to be playing guitar at a best friend’s wedding next week, so I’ve been trying to get ready!

Q:  Who is your celebrity crush?

Bobby:  It’s a tie between Blake Lively and Eva Mendes.

Q:  What is your guilty pleasure?

Bobby:  I’d have to say breakfast from McDonald’s. I get the sausage biscuit and a burrito, and their coffee is amazing. I don’t know how they do it, but somehow the sugar is melted into it. It’s addictive.

Q:  If you could spend an entire paycheck without worrying about bills or savings, what would you spend it on?

Bobby:  Something to do with guitars. Or maybe something aquarium-related. I’ve been getting really into aquariums lately.

Q:  What’s your favorite hobby or pastime?

Bobby:  I’ve been into aquariums lately. I used to have 3 red-eared slider turtles, but they got too big, so I had to set them free in my uncle’s pond. Now I have a 40-gallon tank with some fish and shrimp, but I need some more stuff for it.

Q:  Who is your favorite musical artist or band?

Bobby:  It’s really hard to choose a favorite, but I’m going to go with John Mayer. He’s a crazy guitarist and can really sing – simultaneously. I also like Dave Matthews, Jack Johnson, and the Foo Fighters. The list could go on …

Q:  Describe your perfect Saturday afternoon.

Bobby:  I’d spend the afternoon with my friends and family at a cookout by a pool. There would be great music and great food and drinks. Imagine a Memorial Day weekend or Fourth of July type feel.

Q:  What’s something your co-workers would be surprised to learn about you?

Bobby:  I can spin a basketball on my fingertip for a really long time. I can do a few other tricks, too. I’m not really good at the game itself, though. When the other kids were practicing playing, I was practicing tricks.
